Playing with ETA is always fun, and we had a good time at the Irasburg Town Hall last weekend, Feb 13, 2016. The time got changed from 8-11 to 7-11, but they took up most of the first hour with a raffle. The tunes we played were pretty much the same as usual and I played most of them from memory. We did "Old Time Rock & Roll" and "Mony Mony," neither of which were on the set list but aren't real complicated and I did fine.
The load-in was extremely fast due to below-zero temperatures and high winds. It wasn't any warmer for the load-out, either. Coldest night of the winter so far.
For me peronally, this marked the end of a bass-playing drought. BWSC had started rehearsing a few weeks earlier, and a gig the following week. Someone came up to set up a gig with BWSC at the end of the ETA gig. Good stuff.
